Annette Wolfsberger (AT/NL) is project coordinator of Re-Imagine Europe at Paradiso Amsterdam, a collaborative international commissioning and audience development project with an aim to respond to social and political challenges. She also works as independent producer and researcher initiating, producing and collaborating in arts projects at the fringes of art, technology and society. She was senior producer for Sonic Acts (2008-2017), contributing to and realising international festivals, commissioning and research projects such as Dark Ecology (NO/RU), Kontraste (AT) and the internationally touring Vertical Cinema project. Previously, she worked as project manager for European cultural workers’ exchange programmes for Trans Europe Halles (EU), programme manager for Virtueel Platform (NL) and co-ordinator of the international artist residency programme at Netherlands Media Arts Institute as part of http://aaaan.net. She has background in political science, cultural policy and African languages, and contributed to several publications on new media policy and practice.
